Carl-Henrik Soderstrom

Carl-Henrik Soderstrom

Singer, Songwriter & Producer

Carl-Henrik is a Swedish Electro/Dance/Pop producer that harnesses the ability to make toe-tapping beats with melodies that stick.

Born 1978, he learned the art of singing and playing guitar early on. His musical creations are in essence upbeat with powerful energetic beats that trigger feelings of chill, happiness, action and adventure. While refining his skills over the years, his vocals ignite delightful and calming elements that are complemented with clean and catchy harmonies. Influenced by everything from The Glitch Mob to John Mayer, Carl is fired up about creating music that makes you feel more alive. Early into his musical journey, after being recognized by Ben Marlene & Per Gessle of Jimmy Fun Music, Carl played in a cover band that toured the Alps and headlined for former Swedish Eurovision song contest winner Jan Johansen.

After parting ways from the band, in the music hit capital, Stockholm, Sweden, Carl joined forces with The Superdogs, headed by multi-platinum award producer Hans Schumacher. Together, Carl and Hans wrote and recorded music and released the album ‘Paperheadz’. The band landed a spot in the finals of the Swedish “Bandit Rock Radio” contest – Bandit unsigned. His time with “The Superdogs” was short lived, after moving away from Stockholm.

After a complicating lung collapse in 2013,  his music career was put a bit on hold. In spring of 2016 however, a trip to Spain allowed him to re-discover his true passion, motivating him to write and record 30 songs in 30 days.

With a fervent drive, Carl’s mission to master the art of songwriting and production is being refined through learning the nuts and bolts of modern music production. Apart from collaborating with people across the globe, he aims to create the best songs you have ever heard. As Carl continues to delve deep into the musical soundscape in which he thrives, his aptitude to elicit melodious creations resonates with the mind and soul.
